Satellite TV

We only work with the KU-band for satellite TV reception which means dish sizes from 60-90 cm.

 

Free to air Australian Satellite TV:

If you have severe problems with receiving normal Australian free to air TV via a normal VHF/UHF antenna, you have the option to receive it for free from a satellite dish via the Government run Vast system.

 

This system can also be used for campers and travellers who want to watch TV regardless of geographical location. It is a very reliable system and will only cut out when you have heavy rain.

 

Here in Queensland you will receive the following channels: 1HD, ABC QLD, SBS,regional news, 7 central, 9 Imparja, 10, 11, ABC 2, ABC 3, ABC 24 h news, 7two, 7mate, Gem, Go

 

Free to air overseas TV:

You will access approximately 40-45 channels from many countries, most of them in their own language including ten in English via the D2 satellite.One of the English speaking channels is a news channel and another is about Russia but spoken in English. Most of the English speaking channels are Christian channels. Examples of other channels include: Serbian TV, Thai TV, several Arabic channels, Vietnam TV, Greek TV, Turkish TV, Japanese TV, Dutch TV,

 

Satellite pay TV:

There are a number of smaller satellite pay TV companies supplying several TV channels for different ethnical groups such as Greek, Hong Kong , Italian and Serbian TV. We install and service the satellite equipment for many of these as they don’t have their own maintenance organisation.
